Brighton

I made a spontaneous trip to Brighton on Saturday with the lovely Shiv and Hannah. It was marvellous, if not slightly difficult as i'd only had 4 hours sleep, but TOTALLY WORTH IT. We just wandered round the streets stopping for cupcakes, tea and delicious eats as we so felt. Went into some interesting shops and laughed at yodelling pickles. Ate dinner at The Loving Hut- the second one I've been to in only a week, and i'm off to a third on Wednesday at Archway. We had our pictures taken in the back of a car by Relentless and free ice cold cans were thrust into our shivering hands. All in all a wonderful day trip.

Brighton just makes me happy! It's where I see myself ending up in a year or two, hopefully. But before then i'll either stay here in the awesome warehouse I live in until uni is finite, or i'm thinking Bristol, I've heard nothing but good things about how creative/interesting it is, the location is perfect for london visits/trips back home/seaside adventures and it's surrounded by greenery- something I desperately miss here. Really though, I just want to live in as many places as possible while i'm young and I have been in London for 5 years in September. Life is just so exciting at the moment, so many fantastic opportunities coming my way. I'm keeping my options open, anything could happen!

Vegan UK Swap Box

Life has been mad busy with working at Lush, university, catching up with outstanding work, seeing old friends, adventures and just LIFE. I've also been out or busy doing something most nights too, so i've been rarely sat at my imac. ANYWAYY, last month I signed up to a vegan swap box and my first one arrived today, seriously I tell you it is like Christmas!

I can't believe how much stuff Justine, my swap this time round, was able to get for just the budget of £10 excluding delivery. I have been spoilt with Sweetbird vanilla syrup, Cosy organic fairtrade earl grey tea with bergamot, Sunita organic artichoke pate, Joker candy bar- peanut, caramel & nougat in a rice milk chocolately coating, Biona organic pineapple chews, Landgarten organic dark chocolate soya-snack, Cocoaloco dark chocolate and hazlenut praline eggs- DROOOLL.

I can't wait to try them all now. If any one wants to join in with the swap box you can over at http://www.tohappyvegans.com/wordpress/uk-vegan-food-swap/ You are allocated a new person each month and the budget is £10 excluding postage. I'm sending mine out on Wednesday :D

Blogger vs. Tumblr

I've made myself the promise to keep up with this blog and make it a weekly affair. Instead of once sporadically every 6 months. I love my tumblr blog but it's more of a mishmash of images which interest me, with an odd one of my face thrown in for good measure. So this will be my personal blog. I'll post things to do with my life in general, but also to do with things i'm creating, university projects, vegan stuffs, adventures, things i've cooked and baked, and anything else which so takes my fancy.

My tumblr blog can be found at www.adoreandendure.tumblr.com follow if you wish :)
